My sister and her family were traveling back to the Big Island this weekend for a friend’s daughter’s 1st birthday party, so I volunteered to drop them off at the airport. I had a funny conversation with my 3-year-old newphew in the car on the way to the airport. It went something like this:

My nephew Jaydon is 3 1/2 and his brother is 1 1/2. I have the most interesting conversations with these two boys. Here’s what a recent dinner with them and their mom was like:
Jaydon: Mommy, I want to talk.
Mommy: What do you want to talk about.
Jaydon: Goldfish.
Auntie: Did you see a goldfish today, Jaydon?
Jaydon: No, [...]
